Rather silly mailart from Rebecca Guyver arrives
My mailartist eyes are always scanning a room for stuff to turn into mailart. I also like to play with what will get through the postal system, to explore what is mail. I was pleased to hear that my shower cap had made it Cranberry Island! Other things that I posted earlier haven't yet, nor had Katerina's that I posted on from the UK (and didn't scan). And I'm worried. Sometimes the mail takes a long time though...

Why Cranberry Island?
I was asked by one of the mail artists contributing what my relationship with Cranberry Island is... I grew up in NYC and spent summers (and other holidays) on Great Cranberry Island. I have been an expatriate living in various countries, and have spent the years since 2000 in England. Although I think of myself as a New Yorker, Cranberry Island is my American home now and I spend some time every summer there with my wonderful family - four Guyvers, ten Mosses, and four Kehoes. The island is an inspiring community that has shaped who I am. This mailart exhibit is one way of bringing some of my worlds together!
